UBF (Universal Block Fixer) is a block fixing ready mix. It’s factory-made premixed mortar blended with carefully selected raw material such as graded sand, mineral binders and ordinary portland cement (OPC) in combination with selected polymeric additives which is providing mechanical bond and adhesion between the blocks and block to a surface. It is specially formulated and easily applied, giving a higher bonding with significantly higher air-entraining properties. UBF is a masonry mortar for use in laying bricks, block, AAC, CLC or stone. It replaces conventional jointing mortar of 12-18 mm thickness with highly versatile 3-5 mm thickness.

  • Thin jointing Material with very high adhesion strength.
  • Easy to mix and much faster application.
  • No curing required after block work is done, thus saving critical resources like water.
  • Ready mixed mineral based products designed for new construction as well as renovation purpose.
  • Being premixed, it saves considerable time and labour.
  • It doesn’t cause damage to eco system.
  • Ready for subsequent application like plastering just after 24 hours of application.
  • Raw Material are processed, reducing the chances of efflorescence.

  • Add 20 kg of “UBF (Universal Block Fixer)” to approx. 5.0 ltrs. of cool and clean tap water.
  • Blend properly for 5 minute by hand or an electric stirrer to get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
  • After blending wait for 5 minutes.
  • Apply a thin uniform layer of mortar on clean block with a mason’s trowel to make an even joint layer of 3-4 mm thickness.
  • Remove excess adhesive immediately from the joints.
  • The proper preparation of the surface will make the fixing easier and quicker ensuring a better finish.
